Worldless Wednesday- If you look carefully, I am laying on the ground about 2.5 feet away from this lttle creature and captured myself in his eye.

Wow, William!  That is some neat photography.  The trouble with having such a great camera and being so good at capturing great photos with your great eye, is that you may not have any time for real estate! LOL

Hi Susan, I  would say it is the other  around, doing real estate around the clock and I have so many things I want to get photos of and just no time to get them. With that said, I noticed I have amassed over 20,000 photos. If I could just think of useful ways of using them, LOL. I know, I could put them up on Wordless Wednesday and Speechless Sunday and Fhoto Friday.I was thinking about starting Photo days on the other days of the week  but it might be too obvious, LOL.

William,

it  is even scarry. it happens often when we do macro. There is  nothing scarier than the extreme close-up of an insect

But tis is an interesting exploration

William, That is an interesting shot. Great focus, Its October so Halloween is in the air and this shot has just enough creepiness I think it fits right in.

Hi Jon,

Just lucky. I don't know enough as yet to have actually planned for this. Sort of like in real estate. The harder I work at it, the luckier I get. Insects can look creatures from another planet  I suppose, but squirrels, not so much, :-)

Hi Debe, It was the only title I could think of, Lol. It did seem appropriate though. Always appreciate when you drop over. You are a very empowering kind of person. And always encouraging.

Hi Crystal. Thank you so much. It was a gift. Good light, a cooperative subject and a lot of just dumb luck.

Hi Elaine, Doing photos and going for well composed shots is becoming my new mantra. Then trying to find time to keep it up so as not to be a one shot wonder.

Hi Randy, Thanks for the analogy. But I will admit, I hadn't thought " creepy" but I suppose you are right. Appreciate you stopping over.

Hi Susie, You are too funny. But as we get older, those shots are not so interesting or intriguing any more, if ever they were.  I would walk a mile to avoid any possibility, :)

Hi Bill, Thank You and that was very very kind of you to say. I would have a very long road to travel before becoming a master. But it does feel like I have taken the first steps on that journey.

That is so cool, William.  I actually didn't see you in the blown up version at first.  When I read your blurb about lying on the ground and looked it again, I saw just what you were talking about.  That's really neat!

Hi Charles, I really appreciate that comment because it caused me to recognize a post  wanted to write. Not about the zoom lens so much but about something that even more impactful to real estate and technology in general. Thank you for that Charles.

Hi Liz, Doubly glad I wrote the few words that caused you to look. As you know Wordless Wednesday and the other Photo days actually encourage no words so that readers can draw their own conclusions. When I realized I was trapped in the concave curve of his own lens (eye), I was delighted. Thanks for dropping over and leaving your comment. Very much appreciated.

That is such an amazing shot William. . .Especially that you were able to capture yourself in the eye of the squirrel.  I'm not the best wildlife photographer.  Usually, they move too fast, and I move too slow.  Only occassionally do I grab the shot.

Hi Mryl, Many thanks. Just lucky that the squirrel wanted what I had to offer, Food! Croutons from the people that were having a picnic next to where I was sitting. I saw their willingness to share and I took advantage. I recall being at the beach on many occasions and the squirrels have no problem coming on the blanket to share my lunch. So going in I knew how I would induce this picture. What I didn't expect was the exact angle that captured me in this squirrels eye. You can believe that I will look for other opportunities to see if I can make such a capture even more profound.

Hi Konnie, Just Lucky. The Squirrel wanted  what I had , a crouton  and I was laying on the ground snapping photos already. He came over and took the crouton and moved off less than two feet and with the angle of his head, I was in total reflection in his eye. Snap- Got it.

William...I'm thinking you and my friend Carol Smith should touch base with each other!

You've both been bitten by the photo-bug!

I'm really seeing the improvement.....sounds like a great retirement avocation!

Hi Joan, I went over and saw Carol's spider. Impressive. I will go back and look though here posts as well and perhaps she other photos too. Thanks for the tip. I told her in my comment that you sent me over.

Retirement is not in my future. I have joked that I have to die while working. I have said this to a couple clients and they said they hope it wasn't on their watch, LOL.

Hi Marchel, The SLR camera. It was the day after I got the camera. This was taken with a 18-55 mm lens but I did not have the Polaroid filter at that time.
