HI Melinda - Isn't it funny the things we do when we're on autopilot? Every now and then I find that I've done something I didn't consciously do - nothing bad, thank goodness!

There must be something very deep and darkly revealing about this behavior. Is there something or some person out there you don't want inside?
It looks like they are trying to get out the door to go for a brisk walk or escaping.
I am a huge advocate of this I am just not as good at it as I would like to be.

Melinda, If it worked, keep doing it :) I actually have something that "spins" by my front door to remind me to leave any cares outside.
You must be wishing you were in Hawaii. It's customary to take your shoes off when entering homes here, but you don't need to prop them up like that!
Hello All - I hope you enjoyed my little faux paus. We have practiced the custom of taking our shoes off upon entering our home for 25+ years. But, I have never (mindlessly) propped them up against the door like this :)
