Homecoming Celebration and Pep Rally
Location:Kellam's Field, Chesapeake Beach Date: 10/9/2009 Time: 5:30 PM Duration: 00:00 We are calling all members of the Armed Services so that we may honor you and the service you have provided to our country. We will celebrate American Traditions at our Homecoming/Pep Rally this year. Please come in or out of uniform so that we may say thanks. We will have a special performance by our cheerleaders and poms teams with an American theme also. If you are interested please contact Gabrielle King or be at Kellam's Field in Chesapeake Beach at 5:45 p.m. on Friday October 9, 2009. We will also be collecting cash donations to purchase care packages for those troops who are oversees. If you would like to sponsor a package you can donate $25.00 and it will be sent in your name. If you want to add to our club wide collection you may do that also. The packages will be purchased from the USO project.

Patuxent River Appreciation Days Location: Calvert Marine Museum Date: 10/10/2009 Time: 10 AM Duration: 07:00 Celebrate the River! Saturday and Sunday, October 10 and 11 10:00 am - 5:00 pm All FREE with activities for EVERYONE! NEW on Saturday in the Corbin Pavilion: Bounty of the Patuxent - Wine tasting and local produce and goodies to taste and buy! FREE boat rides, toy boat building, environmental exhibits, live music, arts and crafts fair, face painting, food, pony rides (fee charged) and many activities for children and their families. For beginning and intermediate students, various techniques will be taught to create beautiful forms. On the final day of class, finish your pottery by adding colorful glazes.
