hornet footballSaline Homecoming is Friday night, October 9,2009. The Saline Hornets will play Dearborn Fordson Tractors. The game starts at 7:00.

Attending homecoming is always so much fun...you see all the kids you graduated and left for college. Everyone wears their Varsity Jackets and it is good to connect with families you have not seen since graduation.

Pittsfield Township where the high school is located sent this out to all the families so everyone can have a safe and fun time.

You can follow Principal Ben Williams on Twitter at SalinePrincipal.

The Homecoming Parade begins at 5:30 and starts at Harvest Elementary and ends at the football stadium.

Be safeThe Homecoming Dance is Saturday night.

DANCE EXPECTATIONS HOMECOMING 2009

In order to address concerns about inappropriate dancing brought to the SHS
administration by various students, parents, and members of the Saline community, the
SHS administration and other members of the community will expect the following:

• Students who are dancing with a partner will dance facing one another.
(Grinding your partner from behind will not be allowed).

• Students who are dancing with a partner will dance with both feet on the
floor in a safe manner.

• “Moshing” in the “pit” is not allowed, and no students are permitted to climb
on and/or jump off of the stage.

• Students are encouraged to dance with their shoes on for hygiene purposes
and to prevent foot injuries.

GO HORNETS!!

I would imagine that underage drinking is an issue at all schools and needs to be address. Kids now a days think they are undestuctable.

Missy, your photo brings back some 'old' memories.  And just now my daughter walked in with her older brother's football jersey!  Too funny.

Enjoy the cool evening air and have fun at the homecoming.
