Bet you didn't know THIS about New York City: by Feng Shui New York Consultants
I love eating out in New York City. I believe we have some of the finest restaurants in the world. There are SO many choices, sometimes it's difficult to decide. The Rainbow Room remains one of my all time favorites; the live music and the view are unparallel to any other.
Tavern on the Green in Central Park is always a delight. The recently re-opened Oak Room in the Plaza Hotel is another outstanding restaurant as well as The Boathouse Restaurant in Central Park.
I still miss Rumplemeyer's which was a New York City Institution. It was famous for its ice cream and the first time I walked inside and saw the prices, I thought NO ice cream could possibly be THAT good. I was wrong! I have never found a place that compared to Rumplemeyer's, not even Serendipity (made famous by the movie).
What to do if you don't have the money for these costly "experiences" in Fine Dining in NYC? Just head downtown to Mc Donald's on Broad Street!
A Multi-Level Dining Experience and there is live music by someone who plays a Baby Grand Piano. This Mc Donald's restaurant is the most romantic in the World. People go there to propose-on a budget : ) You won't break the bank (and there are enough of them close by, at any rate!) as it has the same prices as any other Mc Donald's.
It's one of those places that is found Only in New York City!
