This just in: it's very likely that the credit may be extended. We are all lobbying for this.
It will allow more first time home buyers who haven't been able to purchase due to
multiple offer situations in a low inventory market to get their dream home, and help

i think we've all seen the benefits of this credit, and our first time buyers too. Many had given up hope on this one, as they wonder where the money's coming from, but it looks like they're

Hi Lisa. I have not seen a significant increase in first time home buyers taking advantage of this in the Tampa Bay area so am not sure that an extension will help. ~ Lana

Lisa, Thanks for the update. That is what I had read from some mortgage inside info people. They are not always right but the word was 90% likely. I hope they extend it for another 6 months and allow serious people to get involved and then those that miss out, they had their chance..Good luck..
