The Average list price for the homes that closed in Mendon for September of 2009 was $488,267

The Average sale price for the homes that closed in Mendon for September of 2008 was $350,000

The Average sale price for the homes that closed in Mendon for September of 2009 was $457,667

The Average Market time for the homes that closed in Mendon in September of 2008 was 96 days.

As always you do a great job bringing updated statistics to your market - everyone wants to know how the market is doing and anxious to see it steadily going up.  I see a good month in my areas followed by a really bad one - still the roller coaster.

Bill, even though this does not represent a lot of sales it is an increase, and that seems to be the trend with the majority of the market reports that I have been reading lately.

Thanks guys for dropping by and commenting on my Mendon MA Real Estate report. Mendon is a small town that does not have a large volume of sales. So the numbers can easily look skewed from one month to the next. You really have to study the longer term data to get a full picture of where the market is going.
