Hey, I have to admit that I am not a big fan of the prune. Sorry for no recipe. Great pic, Jim

Gosh that bowl of plums looks good! I've never really like them canned, and like them dried as prunes best. Do you have a dehydrator? How about pitting them and freezing? Of course, if I had that bowl, I'd probably eat a lot of them and not have many to go to all the trouble of canning anyway :)

I'm use to seeing prunes all shrived up... these actually look good ha ha... ... sorry no recipies....

No recipes either, I like them fresh better than preserved!

Hello Lee and Carol, I'm with you, eating them fresh when the flesh is yellow (not greenish) is my favorite. Ran out of freezer space this year (blueberries & Corn!), and need to get a new dehydrator. I did can a batch or two. Thanks! John
