Well hello again you hard working real estate people! If you have the time to read this you are:
A. On a break from your hard working super realtor schedule.
B. Are a multi-tasking genius! 500 super points to you!!!
C. Have already made your money in real estate or are only in the business part time because you really have another job like selling aluminum siding or selling tires and just thought you'd check in to see what some of these other realtors have to say in their rambling blogs.
D. Saw the cheeseburger in the blog title and was hungry so you selected it.
If you chose A or B then we have something to talk about.
Being an independent RE/MAX agent I find myself really having to be awesome at multi-tasking and I admit it can be a real challenge. We have all these tools and high tech stuff at our disposal but let's face it when is it overload? I love the high-tech realtor toys and the software but when I am going 100 miles a minute with clients... guess what is my best friend? A steno pad and a pen.
Hence I have a very large collection of steno pads and far too many pens. I have to say that the simple way of doing things sometimes appeals to me...and I hear those stories from the old timers about how it used to be..."Well we had this big MLS book..and we got new pages every week see..." but then the wave hits and I can't wait to ponder how I will deal with it, I just go on auto-pilot and surf the wave by following my systems that are in place. Sometimes there are three and four waves or more...got to keep surfing.
