Oktoberfest - a little late
We're celebrating Oktoberfest tonight. We are a couple of weeks late (and one day rather than the traditional 2 weeks!). My darling, from MN and of Norsk-German decent, has the "Beer Barrel Polka" and a about 3 dozen other polka songs playing for setting the mood. And in case you're wondering, yes, we'll be polka-ing tonight. Certainly the weather is cooperating - crisp, clear, and a tinge of red on the dogwoods.
I wanted to post a picture of a barrel being rolled, but instead I'm posting a picture of a barrel being brewed. No, it's not an Oktoberfest (I tried that - that's another story) but it is a nut brown ale.
