If you are looking for a home...Don't Give UP...!!

This is a challenging market for home buyers..... I have 3 sets of buyers who have been looking for a few months now... I have written multiple offers for all of them..with no luck....things are getting tough out there!

One set is patient...and understands the market..and is willing to wait it out... the other is pretty much the same..then I have one couple...bless their hearts..everytime they lose a home, it's just as someone broke up with them.. :)   They are so sweet and despite my best efforts to talk them off a ledge..they are ready to give up...

If you are looking for a home in this market.... be patient... your home is out there... !!  You just may have to kiss a few frogs..before you find your prince !!!!

Konnie - You're singing to the choir.  I just blogged about two of my clients that took very drastic measures to buy and two others that have already given up and renewed their leases.  At this point, all the rest of my first timers are ready to give up. I'm at a loss as to how to keep the rest of them motivated

Hi Konnie, I feel your pain. We are in the same situation here. We have the buyers, but it's difficult to find a house in their price range that suits the type of loans they are getting. Hang in there!

Hi Konnie - We are experiencing the same thing here.  Especially with our first-time home buyers.  I have one individual who's submitted 4 offers trying to get something closed before the end of the tax credit. Now, we're really down to the wire.

Konnie, Great post. I thought that it was something that should be shared, so I have re-blogged it. Thanks for the post and for letting it be re-blogged.

Hi Konnie...I have not worked with a first time buyer in years and my buyers are able to get lending.  However, the fact that this is a "want" to market and not a "need" to market hasn't changed one bit.  No matter how good the prices are some buyers are still hesitant to make the commitment.  Others, thank goodness, are moving forward.

Why are so many contracts failing?  Are they short sales, foreclosures, or multiple offers?
