As a scuba diver, I have been in the water with dolphins in the open ocean.  They are inquisitive, kind and one of natures greatest gifts!

Oh I loved it! Felt like I was right there with them. I never really listened to the words to that song but it fits really well!

Cathy - I can't tell you how much I enjoyed that video.  What a fitting song.  The closest I've come to being near a dolphin is in an aquarium.  How spectacular it must be to see them in the open ocean.

Suzanne:  I usually do stills - there are specific camera's for underwater, or you can put a regular camera in a special "housing".    It is lots of fun - and the dolphins really do like to pose.  I'll post one of their photos some day.

Li:  Being in the water is terrific!

Sara:  This video is very close to the real thing.  Everyone can then enjoy the feeling.

Liz:  "Cool Change" by the Little River Band - just fits the video so well.  I think it also speaks to us as a reminder to take a deep breath, reflect and live a good life.  If you have ever thought about diving - take it up - it is never too late.  We have dived many places in the world - just not Canada.  Northern California water is cold enough - we need to use a dry suit here.  Even so, for the right subject - I would get in the water almost anywhere.

Donna:  I am so glad you enjoyed it.  These animals are incredible - particularly when you see them in open water and not an aquarium.  I would swear they really do smile as they certainly know how to have fun.

Cathy:  That was just a spectacular video.  They looked like a bunch of little kids just playing their hearts out.  I especially loved the shots that started out under water... showing them getting up to speed... the breaking water, with the cameras following it all the way... and watching the gain some height, and then twisting and turning until they splashed down again.  Just breathtaking.

And... with you being in the water with them at times... how just incredible that much have been.  Talk about being one with nature... wow.  If this doesn't do it, nothing will.  Thanks so much for sharing.  Nice to "see" you... take care... :)

Gorgeous video Cathy!  I swam with dolphins at Puerto Vallarta.  However at the beginning of the video, I'm pretty sure those black and white critters were Killer Whales. . .BUT, they were beautiful too!
