The day we all look forward to ... retiring our John Deere!

Looks like a collectors tractor. I had a farm listing which I sold a few years ago. This farm had about 20 JD's and other antique collectibles; held an auction and it brought in more $$ than the farm.

Hello Mary, yes the Vancouver / Clark County Antique Equipment club brought several of their restored tractors to the Rural Heritage Fair held at the Felida Farm Store here in Vancouver. A nice bit of end-of-the-season fun. I'm sure some of them were quite valuable. John

Hello Charles, this one is a little bit newer than the first one I got to drive back on Dad's South Dakota family farm back in 1969. That one was a fly-wheel start affair, while this one has a battery and starter motor! Thanks! John

I have a brother-in-law who loves old cars and tractors. I've never been on one but it looks like it might be fun!

Love to see these old work horses restored. You've got to be retired to work on these, but what a reward. Thanks for sharing.

Lee and Carol, they do look very clean and vibrant when taken care of like this. And you are right, I think the fellas that brought there tractors to the show were all retired! Thanks! John
