Helping Real Estate Investors to Determine Accurate Repair Estimates...

In my weekly podcast, you can listen in here, http://tinyurl.com/yfq5j7v, I shared a story of how a Club client had purchased a property and asked me to do a walk-through with him to validate his repair estimates.

I won't go into all of the details here, just listen to the 10 minute podcast.  The bottom line however was that my estimate and his were off by $30K.  Not an insubstantial amount of money.  Wouldn't you agree?

Now, as an agent how many times have you had a real estate investor, most likely a relatively new real estate investor back out of a contract because they under estimated their repair costs?  I'll bet this has happened to you at least once in the past year.

I realize that it is not your job to teach your investor buyers what repairs are needed and their estimated costs... but what if you could direct them to a place where they could learn in a hands-on environment how  successful real estate investors not only estimate their repair costs but also how they manage their contractors and vendors profitably? 

Just think... how much easier and profitable your life could become if you could recommend to your real estate investor clients a place to learn this critically important information.
