Tony, Pretty far inland. These are fresh water mussel shells in a dried up cattle pond.

Great images. You should have put a coin or something next to them so we could tell how big they are.

How did they get into a cattle pond, Trey? The way they are set up, they look kind of like the wings of a butterfly.

Wow, it looks like this area has been without water for quite awhile.
