That looks like a big kite. How big was that kite? We dont' see many people flying kites any more.

That looks like alot of fun, Pat. I haven't flown a kite since I was a kid. It always looks like fun, though. Especially at the beach. OK, now I gotta go get me a kite and head out to the beach.

Pat, That isn't the kind of flying fish that I expected. I really enjoyed the photo, though. Thanks for sharing.

I love that pretty blue sky, with the brilliant fish swimming through it. what a lovely sight!

What a colorful fish! Nice shot! The only place I saw kite flying is by the beach near Verrazano Bridge. Must be lots of fun.

Wasn't expecting a kite when I saw your title. Looks like there are a couple of lines attached; this must have been a really big fish!

There is something fishy going on here.

I see a line extending into the air. Either there's a real big fisherman attached to the far end of that upper line.

Or there is/are more than one kite/fish? flying...higher up.

Oh look, flying fish! Great photos, love the colors. I do love to watch kites flying!

And all this time I thought they were just a myth :-)

Pat: Is that a kite? Or is this thing tethered to something? Reminds me that I have two kites in my closet that I've had for six years...haven't used yet.

Hi, Guys! Yes, it's a kite. I took the photo on a quick trip to the beach (Ocean City). It's outside of an amazing kite store on the Boardwalk.

I used to vacation at Wildwood on the Jersey Shore. I sure miss the boardwalk.

Ha! That's funny. It wasn't at all what I was expecting. I was thinking of a shot from a boat somewhere with pictures of flying fish jumping beside it. Thanks for the surprise!
