Here's this weeks Recipe coming to y'all from deep in the heart of Texas Kitchens!

I made this one tonight, and just winged it.  It was probably the best Tilapia I've ever had.  It was so easy, this one is going to be a regular weekly dish at our house.

Ingredients:

  • Frozen or Fresh Tilapia Filets ( I used frozen that was individually sealed, I actually think it was better than fresh)
  • Butter
  • Lemon juice
  • Old Bay Seasoning (Go easy on this spice if you don't like salt)
  • Garlic Powder
  • Black pepper

Recipe:

Thaw as directed if frozen.  Melt enough better to coat filets in a non-stick pan in oven, when melted dip filets in butter, and then pour lemon juice and spices according to your tastes.  Broil in same buttered pan for about 6 minutes, or until done.

These turned out moist and perfectly seasoned.  Serve over rice. (I used Rice-a-Roni Chicken & Garlic flavor)

I love good fish and can even manage to fix it myself.  I load mine down with Volcano Spice which makes it extra tasty.  Your Old Bay sounds good too, thanks for sharing.

I have never tried Old Bay Seasoning before and now here's a good reason to buy some.  Recently, I watched a show on Food Network that mentioned Old Bay Seasoning.  It's been added to my shopping list.  Thanks!
