Maui sunset photo

I only had the cam in my Blackberry but it did a fair job of capturing an awesome sunset.

Aloha!

Sunsets were beautiful pretty much every night I spent in Maui. Although I only spent 2 weeks there, I miss it all the time. You are very blessed to live in such an awesome place. If I wasn't married with kids, I'd be a beach bum out there in a second.

Richard,  I think your Blackberry did a great job.  That is an awesome sunset.

We do get some awesome sunsets here.  Some are just a little more special than others.

Phones and point & shoot cameras do a very good job nowadays of getting good pictures. I'm so used now to playing around to get just the right picture that I can't see myself without my Canon Rebel XSi.

Your photo turned out great!  I don't have so much luck taking photos with my phone, but it's probably more operator error than the phone!

Hi Russell- I also love my Canon Rebel but don't take it to the beach with me.  I will take it into Haleakala Crater soon and hope to get some stunning photos.

Hi Ann- You are so nice to say that.  In the "old days" before cam phones we often wished we had a camera but didn't.

Aloha from Hawaii. Since making the move from an area where Winter meant it was cold and snowy to one where it means rains sometimes last 15 minutes instead of 5, I've made other changes as well including moving from an engineering management position to a real estate professional. I enjoy change and both have been good. I use my blog to discuss most anything relevant to the Hawaii real estate market and my new profession including tips, local information, Hawaiian lifestyle, and embracing change.
