How to insert a photo in Google Wave.

1. DO NOT USE INTERNET EXPLORER.  There appears to be a bug that causes images loaded while using Internet Explorer to continually display a "working twirl"; never a finished image.

Google engineers will probably figure it out and fix it soon.  Meanwhile use FireFox or Google Chrome or Flock or Safari.

2.  Start a new Wave, or reply to an existing Wave.

3.  Click the paper clip/attach icon.

4.  Select the image from your computer, click Open.

5.  A thumbnail of the image will appear.  Clicking on the thumbnail will bring up a full size version of the image.

So far, I have not yet been able to successfully drag an image into a Wave message.  Anyone managed that yet?  When I try to simply drag, this is what I get:

Me too, I am jealous as well. Google Wave  from what I have seen is going to just be so cool. Wish we could of gotten an invite.

I'm keeping track of everyone's name... so when Google finally allows me to invite others, I won't forget.  Meanwhile I figure if I keep posting helpful information like this, Doctor Google will realize what a nice person I am and allow me a few hundred invitations to give away.  :-)

<sigh> I would be glad to address your Wave topics, Cheryl, but I too am a member of the underprivileged, uninvited class.  I am sure our President is working on a government program to address this deep social issue but I don't see a national tax on Google and its elite invitees being very helpful to me.

The bright side is that when I do gain access to the product - it will be working betterl

As always, thanks for all you do.

@Ted :-)

Actually, a little old fashioned capitialism might work.  People are stilling ~selling~ invites on eBay  :-)

P.S. If you do decide to buy one, I'd suggest buying from a seller hawking a "live link" ... if you buy a nomination, it might take as long to receive as waiting for me to receive my allotment of nominations.

Caution: CAT BLOG AHEAD

Including random thoughts on life, art, business, stuff, and occasionally Real Estate.

What is a CAT BLOG?

According to Seth Godin: "Cat blogs are for, by, and about the person blogging. A cat blog is about your cat and your dating travails and your boss and whatever else you feel like sharing in your public diary."

Well, I am the boss, my dating years are behind me, but I do love my cats.

Enjoy!
