Hollis New Hampshire Fine Arts Festival

Welcome to Hollis, New Hampshire ~ A Quaint New England Town

The 4th Annual fine arts festival Will take place this weekend in Hollis, New Hampshire.

Steve Previte is the father of the Fine Arts Festival. He saw a need to introduce area artists to the public and a fall festival is the perfect time of year, with New Hampshire's tapestry of color!

The festival will showcase fine art featuring over 80 artists from all over New England.

Artists will be displaying a variety of media including oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor, graphics and photography.

The fine art festival will feature artists who are beginners, veteran artists and those who pursued art later in life.

WHEN: October 17 - 18

WHERE: Nichols Field (on Depot Road in Hollis.

Hollis, New Hampshire is a beautiful town, I hope you can make it to the art festival!

A guy like me could get lost in a fine arts festival. Just when I found something that would totally captivate me I would look at the next and that would as well.

Tom -- I think you would find this a very unique festival and well worth the time. It is fun to meet the local artists as well.

Joan: what a great way to enjoy fall, strolling around a festival... and that picture is awesome!

Kat -- This should be a very nice fall festival. Hopefully we will have some nice weather! Keeping my fingers crossed XXXXX!

Joan, The leaves there are amazing. I would so love to attend this event. I love seeing what people can create and all the different medias they use!

Carole ~ I think you would find this exhibit to be breath taking. I have a hectic weekend and I am hoping I can get to this exhibit.

Joan, this is a great time of the year for a arts festival, especially since Mother Nature has her paint brushes out and is painting some beautiful masterpieces.

Joan, I am trying not to be jealous of those beautiful fall colors. I'm jealous now but I get over it at the first sight of snow. I hope you have wonderful weather for you art festival.

George ~ Mother nature is providing some great materials for those who are professional artists, as well as an amateur like myself. I love the way the artists transpose these colorful landscapes into fine art.

Hi Joan...New England has an abundance of talented artists. I can just imagine what a delight this festival will be. Here's hoping there's wonderful weather and a great big crowd.

There is always something going on in your area. And you do such a great job of getting the information out there.

Joan--Sounds like fun and it looks very colorful in NH right now too! Love the fall pictures of your area.

Kate ~ This should be a lovely event and I know there are a lot of artists in the area.. this will give them an opportunity to share their art.

Judi ~ It is a busy time of year... we have to get a lot in before the snow starts.... then we have to hunker down for a long winter! :(.

Teri ~ It has been a colorful fall. The rain made a lot of the leaves fall off the trees. I hope to get some more photos before it is time to start raking.

Our fine arts festivals out here tend to be in the late spring and early summer. I'm hoping to get to some of the larger ones next year.

You have some wonderful fine arts festivals in your area. I am sure they will be well attended.

Deba ~ I wish I knew a bit more about photography. I have a lot of help from mother nature! New Hampshire is a wonderful state and it is livable most of the time (except with that what stuff comes down too fast - lol)!

Joan I love the fall colors. This Art festival sounds like something that should not be missed. With 80 artist exhibiting there should be something for everyone.
