Maybe I should ask him to get a second job. :) Just kidding. He works too much as is. Just curious, what are tax rates up there? How close are you to Denver. He could take over the store up there.

Hang on to your hat! This one doesn't have taxes on the house yet. The house up the street is on the market for $750,000 and last year taxes on it were $1400. This house shouldn't be any higher. Mine in the same area and valued at $100,000 taxes were $380ish.

What type business is hubby in?

I pay $1400/year just in school taxes. Wow! Taxes are low! That price home in Houston would pay around $8000-$12000 in taxes.

Hubby is in the Restaurant Biz. His company has a store in Denver.

Ooops, I forgot. Denver is approx 120 miles away. You can get there in 1 1/2 hours depending on traffic. Colorado Springs is approx 45 miles and Pueblo is 35 miles.
