ARE YOU AFRAID OF BEING TOO PUSHY WITH POTENTIAL CLIENTS?
I train many agents who frankly are too timid. They don’t like to call people they don’t already know well because they don’t want to upset anyone. They are afraid they will be thought of as too aggressive or as a pest. I agree you don’t want to be too aggressive or pushy or obnoxious in any way. The fact is no one will deal with someone who is. But many agents use that as an excuse. That doesn’t mean you can’t be persistent, consistent and relentless, every day reaching out for new relationships, following up with everyone consistently and effectively, showing the potential client that you are in charge and a professional. That is not being too aggressive that is a formula for success. I always like to role play with the agents I work with to get them over being timid. Timid is not cool neither is being pushy or too aggressive. The golden mean is being consistent, persistent and relentless when called for. That always brings positive results

Looking forward to helping you grow your business

Paul,

Either you are in sales or you aren't in sales. Sales people are pushy, but they do it creatively.

Thanks Paul, I've been putting off calling a prospect for fear of being to pushy, your post got me over that
