Fall at Lake Anna

Fall at Lake Anna is one of my favorite seasons...I have three others.

What can one expect to see when visiting Lake Anna, in Central Virginia, at this time of year? At the moment leaves are just beginning to change but shortly there will be some beautiful color ringing the lake. I hope you enjoy the photos I took during a cruise on our tritoon last fall.

Fall at Lake Anna

We are blessed with an assortment of hardwood including dogwoods, red uds, and stately oaks. The variety of trees provides us with an range of color from yellows to oranges to brillant crimson.

There's nothing quite like a fall outing on the water. The days are crisp, the sky is gorgeous, and the scenery can be breathtaking. If you have not visited Lake Anna in the fall, why not consider a trip here soon. You might get to witness a sunset like those that I often experience in the evening.

Hi Kate! How GORGEOUS! This is one of my favorite times of the year too--here, we haven't seen the foilage change much yet but, it will by the end of the month and I just LOVE the colors!

Hi Tony & Darcy...Thanks for the kind comments. The photo of the sunset was taken from our deck. We are so lucky to see these types of sunsets over and over again. I have hundreds of pictures of the sunsets and never tire of taking them.

Kate- Beautiful to say the least. My son visits lake Anna each year for a fishing/family vacation. he just loves the area. You certainly found a special spot to call home.

You must see some stunning ones also.

Hi Kay...Virginia is beautiful. As a transplant I can tell you I love my adopted home. Virginia has a bit of everything, mountains, valleys, seashore, the ocean, lakes, history, culture. Oh boy, I'd better stop now.

I spent time vacationing at Lake Ozark so I know how beautiful Missouri can be also.
