Wow, what a view!

Showhomes Orange County's Jill Cosby staged this spectacular home this week and check out the amazing view:

Nice work! I'd expect this home to sell quickly, even in the southern CA real estate market.

Wow that house is gorgeous!  I especially love the red accent color used to bring out the natural red/orange hues in the wood cabinets.

What a gorgeous home. You can tell from the shots that you have a great photographer too!

I adore Laguna Beach -it was a our family-favorite weekend spot! I imagined as a kid that, when I grew up, that was where I'd live. LOL...

Great house and spectacular views! Perhaps my monitor is off, because the colors of the sky  over the pool and the lighting inside the house is unnaturally super-saturated.

It is just me?

Thanks, Michelle

I think they are a bit over saturated; these are HDR photos which is becoming more and more common in real estate photography. I like it - it compresses several shots from light to dark into one so it looks more like the dynamic range your eye sees (detail in the shadows, ect). It is really pretty but perhaps not that amazing :)

How's Lafayette? I was talking to a stager from your area, Renee Ory, whom I'm related to and she said the staging market is really good there.

I've met Renee! Although she may not remember - we had a conversation back in '07 about her staging and organizing (i believe?) business at a Benjamin Moore store.

Delightful person, and she's been staging a while, because I recall receiving her business card  (she had a really great card, as I recall!) from our meeting.

Please Thomas, do send me how to get in contact with her. I'd love to invite her to a RESA meeting.

I love everything about this one - the view, the staging, the colors.  But I'll bet that home was imposing when it was empty.  The staging really warms it up!  And the photography is awesome!

Hi Thomas....Was this home vacant originally? Were these the only rooms staged?  Great photos too!

Kathleen, this house, like all of the homes we stage, was vacant and has been on the market for some time. The southern CA market is pretty rough but we're doing well helping homes like this sell. We always stage 100% of the house - we believe that partial staging usually leads to a lowball offer since buyers in this market can really see that it is still a vacant home. This home has a really lucky live-in home stager, Jill Cosby. She's excellent.

Thanks Thomas....yes, I prefer that owners stage the entire house.  Here in FL, the majority of calls we get are for vacant homes...and with our really, really down market, folks are challenged to stage in the manner which would bring in the most dollars.  Jennifer B. here with Showhomes is hanging in here with us!  Thanks.....
