Central Ohioans' homes lost to financial default is regaining speed

 The number of area homes in foreclosure through the first nine months of 2009 increased over a year earlier. Filed foreclosures throughout out the region reached nearly 9500 in the first 3 quarters of the year, a 4% increased over the same time period in 2008

 

Data shows that more than 14,000 homes will have gone into foreclosure in the Central Ohio region in 2009. Job losses are now at the fore front The unemployment rate in Central Ohio reached 8.8%

 

Looks like more short sales and REO's are in line for the Cental Ohio area. What's the out look in your region?

Lots of foreclosures here  too . Now that a state moratorium just ended which delayed foreclosures we are expecting a new wave to hit the market.
