We are always trying to find cool ways to redecorate small spaces such as half baths.

One that really stuck out in my mind from years past was one a cousin did using the covers from The New Yorker to completely cover the walls. I loved that.

So if you do always get magazine subscriptions save the front covers before throwing them out just in case you can use them later to cover something.

Another great idea was one I saw on Facebook that Midori Miller had posted from Zack Hample of NYC. He has saved business cards for 20 years then completely covered the walls of his bathroom. Awesome idea!

Check out his video...

Lizette - Very entertaining.  Loved the business card bathroom.  I also think the magazine cover idea is a good one.  I'm thinking golf magazines for a golf themed 1/2 bath.  How fun!

How cute - back in the 70's we would use album covers to decorate walls. My sons use to use baseball cards in huge frames to hang in their rooms.

Fun ideas as long as the owners don't plan on selling anytime soon.  Removing those items for staging would be a chore!

Since it's a bathroom....do you recommend covering it with some sort of sealer? Wonderful...don't need a magazine...just a phone and a bunch of contacts :)

That is an odd collection and quite a unique idea. I'm not sure I would think to decorate any room with random business cards. Gives you something to read while you are in there.

WOW! When I lived in a student apartment once, my roommate and I covered some ugly walls with ads from the New York Times and ugly metal kitchen cabinets with pictures of food...this was back in the days of "decoupage" where you slapped a coat of varnish over it and it became ART.

Oh my gosh...that may be the coolest thing ever for the powder room of a business.  But, I can't imagine doing that in your home!  It would drive me nuts! And, I'd do the top half in cards then paint  the bottom half.   After all...who wants their business card at foot level?

Restaurants should ALL DO THIS!!!!!  When I was in the corporate world, I would always "test the boss" and use the wall behind my desk as a huge wall collage of photos.  Eventually you couldn't see any wall behind or around my desk area - people would come visit just to look...They would let me get pretty wild with it.  Lucky me!  It was my daily inspiration before I came home to work!

Lizette,

Well that is one way to go about it all right. Interesting. I remember the wall papers that used to look like the old Sears catalog.
