House passes resolution 416 to 0 to extend First Time Home buyer Credit by another 6 months to veterans that were on active duty for 90 days or more in 2009.  This is a telegraph that it will NOT be extended for another 6 months for everyone else.  It's not a done deal yet so stay tuned.  It's good to see that our service members are appreciated.

Many people will say that this is only good for VA Loans.  NOT True.  As with the current Tax credit you may use this on any loan type.  That means that USDA, FHA, Conventional, Texas Veteran's land board and VA Loans can get the tax credit!

For everyone else that means the tax credit will end on December 1, 2009.  If you don't have your home under contract now the odds are against you that you will be able to get that tax credit unless you get started this friday 10/16.  To get the tax credit contact our office here and we'll get you pre-qualified.
