As a specialist the Advanced CDPE is able to provide solutions for homeowners facing hardships in today’s market, including well managed short sales.

Advanced Certified Distressed Property Expert

The prospect of foreclosure is scary and emotionally devastating. Many homeowners proceed without guidance of any kind. The developers of the CDPE Designation believe that the best course of action for a homeowner in distress is to speak with a licensed real estate professional who is a CDPE specialist. They have the tools needed to help homeowners find the best solution for their situation. Often, when other options have been exhausted, CDPEs can help homeowners avoid foreclosure through a well managed short sale.

Financial difficulties are challenging for any family. Selecting a CDPE Agent ensures you are dealing with a professional trained to address your specific needs.  Because I am a CDPE specializing in the far west suburbs of Chicago, I can provide you with valuable experience.  Often, time is NOT on your side, so you'll want schedule an in-home consultation right away to understand your options.  To Shedule a no obligation consultation click here.

CDPEs don’t merely assist in selling properties, they serve and help save their clients in need.

In the Chicagoland Real Estate Market, a CDPE manages complex transactions with Sellers, Buyers, Lenders, Homeowners’ Associations, and Attorneys. Complex purchases benefit from well managed specialized services.
Buyer’s who elect to work with CDPEs retain a Specialist with knowledge about all aspects of the market. Nationally, CDPEs successfully close over 90% of their Short Sales.

As a CDPE, the Goal is to reach the most equitable resolution of a Seller’s Hardship. The Lender, Seller, and Buyer working together realize the best possible outcome for a difficult situation.

The CDPE designation will be helpful for homeowners in distressed situations, however, the most important question for a homeowner to ask a prospective agent is, "How many short sales have you closed in the past year?" then verify their answer.  It's amazing the number of agents who put themselves out as experts yet have not actually closed any short sales in the past two years.  Good post, thanks for sharing.
