I found this earlier today on Chris Brogan's blog.  It's an amazing example of what can happen when people come together with a common goal in mind.  The band, Sour, chose participants from among its actual fan base, and this was filmed across several continents.  Makes me want to consider purchasing their music via iTunes or elsewhere.

Better yet, it makes me wonder what types of projects I could create myself.  This one was done using webcams only, along with editing software, of course.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

I miss the video collabs we used to do on YouTube, with other community friends... before Google commercialized the site and ruined the community =(

Jason,

How cool is this???  As I was watching it all I kept thinking was NO. They HAVE to be in the same room together (esp. the group shot in the middle of the vid).....don't they?  I posted this to my facebook page....you know, I didn't understand anything they said in the song....and at the same time, I understood everything.  Boundaries broken. Love it. :)

Hi Jason, What an amazing video. It really shows you that creativity and thinking "outside the box" does not have to be expensive. It really has me thinking about how to be more original with my ideas. Thanks for sharing....

What a fantastic find! You've got to be able to "see" the finished product before you even start it!

Jason, with the exception of not understanding a word of the song :-) that was a really fun video. Amazing what you can when you put your mind to it.

Outstanding!!  Unbelievable!!!  How did they engineer all that?  It's beyond me...

3:56pm • #27

Very creative!  That must've taken quite some time to figure out exactly who was doing what and when.  Pretty cool!  Thanks for sharing!

Wow! Thanks for sharing.  It's one of the most creative things that I've seen in a long time and can't figure out how they engineered it all.

Hi Jason!  How cool is THAT?!  And, how in the world did they manage some of those 'connections?'  I say, go for it--perhaps you could rally the troops on Active and create one from the members?!

Have a fabulous Friday!  (Oh, my patio is ALMOST complete!!)

OH, I just had a thought--did you take any shots of the demolition of your patio?  Or the laying of the new one?  You could start with NC/TX 'mirrored' patios!  I still find that uncanny that we both were demolishing on the same exact day.

Debe - Our patio will probably be done by Monday or so, perhaps even tomorrow.  I do have a couple of pictures of the demolished version.  :)

Interesting.

Not only viral, but involving.

Hmmmm.

Some kind of a "chain letter" video?  Each recipient adds something to the video and passes it along.
