"Kill Obama" Signs Found In Cave Creek Arizona

more teabaggers who cannot spell I am so proud of my fellow Arizonans.

When Obama came to town, lots of angry white people showed up brandishing guns. One guy, with an assault rifle, told our local news that "America isn't ready for a black President."

And he didn't even wear a hood like most of his cowardly brothers do.

The guns were a message and we heard it loud and clear. Thanks to you crazy, gun-toting racists! I appreciate you exposing yourselves. It's not about this or that, for some folks, it's all about color.

I wonder what the right-wing would have to say about a large crowd of black people attending a McCain rally with assault rifles and telling news cameras that they aren't ready for a white President. What do you think Rush Limbaugh would say about that?

Fox News would be all in a tizzy. It would be discussed for weeks! Scare the heck out of white people and push our much more gentle, gun-toting agenda. But blacks with guns? You've got to be kidding me.

When I attended the Phoenix Gun Show, I heard many people use the n-word when describing our Commander-in-Chief.

Is that ever appropriate?

I saw assault rifles for sale, with our President's face on the price tag and a target superimposed...as if to say "Buy this gun and kill the President."

And now this. Political signs in Cave Creek, AZ with the words "Kill Obama" on them.

In the words of Sheriff Joe: "This is a complete disgrace and gross act towards our president."

P.S.-- And if anybody knows the genius in the picture, please remind him that America has no official language, but if we did...he isn't writing it. I have tons of these totally ironic teabagger signs.

It's just so hard to choose which ones to post!

I know, "Freedom of Speech", but isn't that treason or something like that?? It is a hateful world. When times get tough the tough get going and the week find someone to blame.

I hope they find the people who made the signs and lock them up for a long time. I do have to ask though - when you were at the gun show and heard what you heard and saw what you saw, did you call the police? I know I would have done.

Finally - you actually devalue your own post by the weak attempt to knock Fox News and Rush Limbaugh - and in fact anyone who disagrees with the President. I DO - but to some people, disagreeing with the President makes you a racist.

Karen, I agree with you -- this is a disgrace that is being fueled and encouraged by the far right. Hopefully, this behavior continues to expose those for their racists hatred.

Simon-- I don't knock Fox News; they knock themselves. And seriously, you are welcome to answer the question:

What if a bunch of black extremists showed up at a McCain rally with guns and said they weren't ready for a white President?

What would Rush say? And, part two: What does he have to say about white guys that do the same thing?

It doesn't devalue my post. Anybody that knows Rush (drug addict, liar and hypocrite) knows exactly what he would say.

I am embarrassed by this kind of behavior. It is disgraceful and so narrow minded. It is a new world, go and grow with it!

But you see the problem you've got is that the State-run MSNBC fuels your own fire. Do you know they showed the back of a man with an assualt rifle over his shoulder at one of the rallies you speak of. What they did NOT show you was that when the camera panned up the man's body, he was BLACK! So they did a story on white extremism and used footage of a black man to make the point without letting you know that he was black! You should try Fox - you might have your eyes opened. There is a difference between Fox NEWS and the commentators who have their own OPINION shows. As for Rush - I thought we were supposed to help the drug addicts? Isn't that the social justice way of doing thigns? Or maybe we should take your lead and call all drug addicts names? Just let me know because it apparently depends on exactly who the drug addict is and I'm not sure of the rules of that particular game.

But not for Rush. And not just because he's a borderline retard. It's because he said, just before he was caught, that all drug addicts should get the death penalty.

So no, it doesn't matter whether you are left or right, I think we should help everyone. That includes giving Rush the death penalty he wanted so badly.

Okay... I don't really believe in the death penalty. But I don't think Rush is worthy of any help because he lied and condemned and name-called drug addicts until he got caught.

No one would ever condone hat. If you paid any attention to the news you would have heard Rush say 2 days ago- while he disagrees with obama he has respect for the president. As for LIARS, no one in any sort of power has told as many lies as obama. Why is obama afraid to go on FOX athough invited often since the camaign? obama is the only candidate without the courage to stand behind what he says. Making it a race issue is your doing. It is not because obama is black- it is because he was not and is not ready to run much more than an ice cream truck.

A couple days ago, he imitated what he considers black people, by saying "Right on, right on man, right on."

I don't think Obama is "afraid" of anybody at Fox News. He has ten times the legal education of any of those so-called reporters. What would be the point? It would be like watching a special education teacher help a bunch of very confused children.

I always try to reverse roles, just as you did...and it becomes a ridiculous situation that would never be tolerated. We have come a long way in 50 years, but if this is any indication, we have a way to go. What's scary is these people have children that they are teaching!

No-- obama is weak. He cannot make a decision in a timely manner. Without memorizing what someone wrote or reading a teleprompter he is lost. He is very intelligent but cannot defend his lies. I am not a fan of Bush but Bush told fewer lies in 8 years than obama as in 9 months. Nearly every one on FOX would make a fool f obama ad that is why he hides. He only goes where they drink the KoolAid and he has all questions in advance. He knows he cannot defend his lies and they grow daily.

Michael, please post or email me a few photos of these signs. My friends in California, think I am making some of these stories up regarding what goes on around here for bonus points in the telling of the tale.

Karen, maybe you should try listening to Rush for a week or two yourself, instead of just listening to media sound bites. I can promise you that you will have a new perspective on Rush. He is not a racist or a right-wing nut job as the media would like you to believe. I have listened to him daily for years and can tell you for a fact that what you are hearing from the media is NOT TRUE! You and I may have different political beliefs but I can bet that we both want what is best for our country. You also might want to check out Glenn Beck's new book "Arguing with Idiots". It is not a Republican/Democrat book. Just a book that gives both sides of the argument and why one side makes more sense than the other. The facts stated in his book are NOT his opinions. There are 25 pages of footnotes with unbiased sources.

I've listened to Rush many times. It's usually so I can laugh after having a hard day.

And Glenn Beck? Who lost dozens of sponsors due to his own hate speech?

Are we talking about the same former rodeo clown and college drop-out? Why-- since I am an educated man-- Why would I want to read a book written by somebody who couldn't even get through college?

Michael and/or Karen(?) - excellent post! I've had this very same argument countless times with many of the same players in the BP group. The responses you have seen so far are mild, it will deteriorate quickly. I haven't seen you around these parts much, if ever, so let me tell you how this goes. You have written a blog that calls out a bunch of so called conservatives by implying some of them might be racists. You know they are, I know it, heck they know it but they'll go to their grave claiming otherwise. Get ready for the wrath of the defiant racists, you'll recognize them soon enough, they are not hard to sort out.

Conservatives expect us to believe that all the racist signs at the tea bagging events, the gun toting, the outrageous rhetoric is just normal political discourse, unfortunately we can see right through them. These people continue to devolve and they don't take change well. Their Lily white country is being over run with immigrants and the white house is occupied by a man of mixed race. They are losing the white supremacy battle they had been winning for 200 years and the fringe is very angry about that, thus they rally behind false indignation as a cover for their true agenda. These are faux patriots and their legion is growing because so many republican leaders have given them voice and license to promote civil unrest and blatant lies. The fanning of the racist flames continues daily on Fixed News and the hyperbolic Becks, Limbaugh's, Hannity's and Drudges.

God help Obama, I hope he survives his trip to Texas this month and for another 7 years in office.

Hi Michael ~ I do love the sign picture - I have one somewhere that I had on my wall for ages "Japan Said Your Stupid" - it still makes me laugh.

I'm floored that the gun toting stuff has been allowed. And the hate spewing rhetoric is grotesque - and what alway, always blows my mind is the Republicans' attempt to suggest it's a tit for tat. Get real! There has never been this level of vile spewing coming from the Democrats.

It's true. Last week, Beck appeared on Bill O'Reilly's show, and the two men bemoaned the attempts by nasty liberal "loons" to shut Beck up -- to snatch away his freedom of speech. What was odd was that while Beck and O'Reilly clearly made (indirect) references to the ad boycott campaign, they never explained to viewers what sparked the outrage. They never explained why. They never conceded the campaign was launched in direct response to the fact that Beck went on national television and called the president of the United States a "racist" and someone who flashed a "deep-seated hatred of white people."

No Larry. And no Glenn. Obama is not an angry black man. Glenn never refers to his white friends as "white." He points out the black thing because he doesn't like the black thing.

Karen George lost her battle with cancer today but she will never loose the love and respect hundreds of Active Rain members from across the country that were touched by this incredible woman have for her.

When I joined Active Rain in May of 2007 I was a lost little puppy. Karen is one of those that wrote some awesome blogs that helped me grow my presence on Google both with my Active Rain Profile and my own web site.

When Karen was too sick last summer her husband Michael wrote a page for my site in an attempt to have it climb higher with the search engine rankings. I did not expect this at all and told Michael it was not necessary. He did it anyway. Many of you don't know but even when Karen was very, very ill and could hardly sit up she would write blogs here on Active Rain in an attempt to help us with the great advice she always gave.

If you have not read Karen's blogs I highly recommend you do. 99.9% of everything she wrote was to help you and I grow our business. I read many of Karen's blogs and put the recommendations into action which is one of the main reasons I have had so much success on the web.

OMG! I'm not an Obama fan, but using the "N" word is NEVER acceptable! However, although the U.S. has no official language, according to the Department of Naturalization, in order to become a citizen, those who are seeking citizenship MUST be able to speak a minimal amount of English! I researched this last year. I won't bother to go into my extreme frustration that lead me to the point of research.

You know, it is a waste of time trying to convince one another to see each others point of view. Most of us who respond to these blogs are firmly set in our beliefs and nothing in the world is going to change my opinion. We can banter back and forth with our "evidence" about who is right and who is wrong, but ultimately, nobody is going to switch sides. That is the beauty of living in a free country. I used to get all worked up reading these blogs but have come to realize that it doesn't really matter what others think - I'll just do my best to make sure my side wins in the voting booth in 2010 and 2012.... Very spirited conversation going here. i knew this going in that the true feelings of some people will rise to the surface. All because of the color of their skin. There will come a time in our lives that we will ALL answer for the things we say and do. Nothing is hidden from God because He knows our very thoughts. We should show the utmost respect for our leaders regardless if they are good or bad. They were elected by the majority and we have them for a period of time. Lets just live with it,unite as a country should and move forward. All this bickering will do no good.

I am not white but I am a conservative. I think that you have blown your whole argument by stating that all racists are conservatives. You need to get out more.

I have a friend that is not white. He is a college prof. One of his favorite party gags is to tell very stupid inane jokes. He figures that anyone that laughs is a racist-laughing because of his color. He says most of the white profs will laugh.

I have had libs try to talk down to me in order to help me. They are well meaning but that is racist. When I was a kid, we lived dirt poor. Well meaning libs would come to fix our houses. They would tell us not to woory because they were going to help us. They always acted like we could not do it ourselves. Thank goodness they came to help us. We may have died or something.

How many times have we heard libs say that our mlitary is made up of poor black folk. during Vietnam that kind of talk was rampant. They kept on telling us that the poor blacks could not get a good job outside of the mlitary. Really?

How many libs dig Condie? How about JC Watts? I love them. I am not black. I do not like President Obama or Jessie Jackson. Whoa! Am I a racist? Do you like Condie or JC? Are you a racist?

I think the RACE topic has gotten out of control. I respect the office of the President. I do not have to agree to be respectful.

We must always question or government and demand they honor the constitution or we will end up like Germany and Russia, folks feared to question Hitler and Stalin.

I'm not comparing our President to either of these men, so don't even go there! Just saying it is the right of the people to demand answers from our federal government and all other elected officials in a democracy.
