HORSE PEOPLE ARE THE BEST.  Since I started my blog, PALM CITY'S HORSE TALK, I have met so many wonderful people through my little real estate blog.  Most horse people understand other horse peopleWe all have one major thing in common.....just the pure love for our horses.  Horses seem to bring out the best in people.  Since I specialize in horse properties and country homes in my real estate business, I meet a lot of wonderful people that enjoy the same lifestyle and ideas of country life as I love.

Through Palm City's Horse Talk, I was contacted by Marian Rein, from St. Louis, Missouri.  Marian and I shared a few stories and again, I found a big story with this remarkable lady.  I have asked Marian to share some of her stories with you, my readers.

Marian Rein had a dream and love for horses when she was a child.  Now Marian lives in St. Louis and publishes a local newspaper,  Marian is now beginning to pursue a long-buried dream of becoming a horse woman.Mirian Rein

"Hi, Carol. thank you so much for writing back. I went to your website.  It's indescribable property.  Your blog describes the area so well. I live in St. Louis, publish a local newspaper, my son is 15 and goes to wonderful private school...and I'm beginning to pursue a long-buried dream of becoming a horse woman. In addition to my business, nature and animals are my passion.  I volunteer at Longmeadow Rescue Ranch here in Missouri, where there are sometimes 100 horses being cared for at one time, trained and adopted out.  It gives me an opportunity to care for horses and satisfy my hunger for nature. The trainer there is working with me to achieve some goals--to improve my riding skills (not that I have any) and to train using natural horsemanship methods. My son and I spent a summer on a horse ranch in Arkansas in 2005, where I learned about natural horsemanship.  I rode English as a young girl, but I knew nothing of natural horsemanship.  It was eye-opening. Carol, I will bookmark your blog.  The snow of Missouri is slowly losing its charm.  By the way, are there any horse publications in Palm City"?

I thought it would be great to read some of her journals; therefore, I have asked Marian to be my guest on my blog and share some of her experiences at Longmeadow Rescue Ranch.  LOOK FOR MARIAN!
