Akron Ohio and Summit County Ohio Events Calendar

Did you know that Thomas Edison at age 84, died in his West New Jersey home at 9:59pm, Eastern Standard Time on October 18^th, 1932. All non-essential lights in the United States were extinguished for one minute in his memory. Edison visited Akron Ohio many times in his life, as he was great friends with Harvey Firestone and other businessmen in the Akron area!
