There is that Biblical phrase of don't hide your light under a bushel basket but put it up on a stand for all the world to see. Thinking of light and carved pumpkins this autumn time of year made me think of the patterns that the light comes out through.
Our Patterns Inside Illuminate Our Outside.
We all have light to share. Whether it be totally covered up, or slowly emitted it is there. The patterns carved in our pumpkin wall selves are our habits. What do we show the world? How does that light eventually get to the outside. Do we have good habits in many respects, where others that see our pumpkin selves just smile?
Or do some of those habits need a little work to really brighten others lives? Review all the patterns in your life, the things you do over and over again, and make sure they are the ones you can be most proud of like a good example, giving, and loving.
