Hi Susan, That fireplace is quite impressive. Did you notice the wood shelves on the living room side.
I spent some time in the garage taking photos of the cars...quite a challenge..4 cars in one space and they did not move! Will try to post in a few days...wonderfully busy with listings, sales, showings and settlements.
Margaret, what a great post ... great photos and presentation. I "found" you this morning on Russel Ray's post about personality type. Then I went straight to Amazon, read reviews of your book, and, of course, ordered it. I can't wait to read it.
Sallie, Look forward to 'meeting' you .
Thanks for stopping by..Russell is very special.
The double sided stone fireplace is great. Reminds me of the house I grew up in.
I love your very full description. It's like telling a story, and make the reader to really get to know the home. It's always good to make an emotional connection.
Hi Margaret ~ Mid-century modern is one of my favorite house styles. This house is magnificent - the fireplace, the gorgeous built-ins, the lighting fixtures, and all the other details you've shared here - wow! Not to mention all that space. Just super!
Liz
I love your copy. Though it needs updating it's got sucht great storage and space inside and out. Good luck with it.
The home on the outside looks great, nice yard, and very clean. I would say the interior could use some heavy updating, or at least a professional stager, best of luck!
How big is the lot Margaret? And by the way, I am curious to know what program you are using to post your pictures.
Margaret very interesting property, I found the fireplace interesting, the color of the bricks and the wood above.
Keith, Hmm..does it count if I commented. Well..I won't win one of my own books.
Jennifer, Some very interesting brick and stone in this house.
Lloyd, The lot is a bit over 1/2 acre.
Lisa, You are #20 and a winner!!
Leah, Great storage inside and out. Thanks for stopping by.
Liz, This is a very special house waiting for the right buyer to make it their special home.
Renee, All my listings have their own personalities and I am just trying to give them an introduction.
Debi, Do you have any photos of your childhood home and fireplace? Loved speaking with you today. All the best with your daughter.
Hi Margaret! Don't know HOW I missed this one but, as I'm shutting down my computer, I thought I'd take a peek to see how you're faring here! I just love this--so 'country-like' and the fireplace is just beautiful! Very unusual. The wall of windows in the den has got to be one of my favorite features--I love letting the sunshine in!
You're doing a wonderful job for your sellers, as always; they're very fortunate to have your doing their marketing for them!
Good Luck!
Debe, This is a very special property with lots of options so marketing this home has been fun. Just look at the huge garage filled with restored cars plus all those windows, high ceilings, floor to ceiling fireplace and custom entertaining built ins.
We have some serious interest. Just hope one of the buyers moves forward!
Thanks for your kind words.
Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!
I love the door Jewerly, and is that a double sided fireplace? You do a spectaular job with all the pictures!
Keith, I loved the "door jewelry" so I thank you for noticing. That is a double sided fireplace between the living and dining areas..a centerpiece of the house.
Margaret- Ranchers are one of favorite style homes. So much living space and ALL on one floor. This is a lot of home for the money and with a bit of updating would make a grand residence full of vintage style and modern conveniences
Definitely needs some updating, but I love the lot! The landscaping, that tree in the front yard and the way the house is set is lovely.
Martha, This is a lot of house for the money. Large rooms, cathedral ceilings, stone fireplace. 4 car garage and no steps...just some updating and this would again be a home of elegance.
Elyse, You are a winner!! Welcome to ActiveRain! Enjoyed our conversation today.
