Zoey the Cool Cat just celebrated her third birthday last month, so she's still quite an active cat, occasionally displaying that explorer kitty personality, and I do all I can to keep her physically active as well as exercising her mind since she's a 100% indoor cat.

Every time I go to Costco, I'll bring home a box that I think she'll like. I've found that if they are too big, she doesn't like them.

The other day, though, as I was unpacking the multi-item packages from Costco, I threw a Kellogg's box on the floor. Within seconds she was inside her new Kellogg's home, "Frosted Flakes" model.

This home was built by Kellogg's. It's the

As cats will do, though, within a few days she was bored with her new home.

Last night I picked it up and put it on top of the trash can to take out. Within seconds, she had found a new home. Still a Kellogg's home, but now the "Frosted Flakes Pizza" model.

My remodeled Kellogg's home,

I love my newly remodeled home!

Perhaps we can learn something from this:

If your Clients don't like a home at first, just move it a few feet. That might give it a whole new perspective and make it the dream home that they were looking for!

We can, indeed, learn from our pets!

Your post made me smile.  My cats look just like Zoey and do exactly the same thing after my trips to CostCo.  Our largest cat Micah, succeeds in making me laugh every time.  He is our largest cat yet always tries to get into the smallest box.  I think he is in denial about his size!

the problem I have, is that most of my clients don't like cozy, tight spaces, like Zoey the cool cat does.  They want broad, expansive vistas with volume ceilings....  those are a little harder to move.

Russel, I have two cats and new boxes are always a great source of entertainment! Like some buyers, if one of them gets it first, the other invariably decides they can't live without it!

My cats prefer bags to boxes, but mostly they prefer the bed!  Happy birthday to Zoey the cool cat! You are totally cool.

Hey, Russel. You are right, sometimes a different angle (if you will) will give a whole new look at things. What a smart kitty you have, Jim

Hey, Irene - I've tried to find some anecdotes for why cats like to get into the smallest space possible but nothing yet. I originally got nice big boxes from Costco, but Zoey the Cool Cat had no interest in them. Make it small so she just barely fits and she's all in them.

Hey, Caren - Probably all life is the same - never satisfied.

Hey, Joseph - So I have one unhealthy day each week - LOL.

Hey, Alan - I understand your problem, but I have no solution for it.

Hey, SarahGray - And just like kids with new toys, too.

Hey, Terry - I've got over 3,000. How many more do I need? LOL

Hey, Marcy - Zoey the Cool Cat will do bags and newspapers as long as she can get under the newspaper and the bag opening is partially hidden.

Hey, Karinee - But you didn't tell us what kind of puppy, and you didn't leave a picture, either! Everyone reading should always feel alright about leaving a picture in my blog.

Hey, Jim - My home inspector will often get down on his hands and knees to look at a house from a different perspective. It's amazing what he sees.

Hey, Carl and Ceil - Don't be putting any thoughts into anyone's mind, especially Zoey the Cool Cat.
