Well the chimney appears to be properly pointed, but the decking needs a little work. As for the wave, could it have been you stepped back too far and it was the sign off as you fell off the roof?
Mr Jay---I have been waiting for you to show up so I could publicly thank you for your gift that will keep me from becoming a mere shadow. Thanks so much we are really enjoying the box of chocolates. Remember, Forrest Gump said, "life is like a box of chocolates---you never know what you are going to get!" I consider you one of those pieces of chocolate.
Julie dijo: Muchos gracias Jay! Nos encantan los chocolates y los hemos comido casi todos.
I thought for sure Nutsy would show up... any chance he can do a photoshop trick on you, he will! Maybe he is lurking in the shadow...[only the Shadow knows!]
Have no fear, sweet Nutsy is here. That fool Mr Charles quivers and shakes so much on a roof that he is hardly able to chase me. It is all he can do to get up there without breaking his neck as is.
Shoshana, the only thing Nutsy knows about shadows is how afrid of her own she is.
Nutsy and the world is supposed to be impressed that a squirrel annouces that they are a better climber than a human being? Is there a part of you that is not so sure or something?
Barbara----I like the new picture---I just wish you would scold Nutsy as much as he deserves:)
It looks like a trim and apparently disoriented Santa Claus waving as he heads down the chimney. Or the chimney sweeps from Mary Poppins. Can you tell I have young children? :)
Be careful up on the house tops, friends of ours son-in-law fell off her roof the other day, only broke a foot but ouch- could have been a lot worse. cheryl
How can you spread lies like this and expect me to like you?
Gary, I agree---squirrels seem to actually do more "physical" damage to homes than rats do---given the same number. There is one particular one in Bellingham WA that will probably pop in here and try to defend himself---but don't pay any attention:)
My blog is intended to provide information related to home inspections in Seattle, surrounding communities and anyone else interested. Sometimes I will provide information that has nothing to do with home inspections. Enjoy!

Perfect timing Charles, a nice wave 'Hello'. Today's weather in Seattle wouldn't cast a shadow.
