La Quinta, California what a beautiful place to live

As I was sitting in my office early this morning, I received a call from a potential client in North Dakota.  As we talked she asked me how the weather was and wanted to know if it was raining.  I looked up outside my window and realized once again how blessed we are here in La Quinta.  I went out my door and took a picture to send to her and thought I would share it with everyone.  We may have hot summers, but the next 9 months are truely paradise.  I guess that is why La QUinta is called "The Gem of the Desert".  Have a great day wherever you are!

I like the scenery in that area too.  It looks like a wonderful place to retire.

You are right. I tis great to retire here, but also to live work, and enjoy life everyday. We love living here. The people are friendly. It is a small town atmosphere. There are also of people on vacation as it is a resort destination so people are happy and having fun. It feels like you are on vacation even when you are working.

I would rather be there right now.  This morning, I put on my Winter coat to go warm up the car... and left it running for a while, before I could go back, without freezing  It's very cold here.

I love where I live ... but not the weather. :)
