Election time is upon us and our votes are needed on November 3 for propositions regarding tax appraisals in Texas. The Texas Association of Realtors is urging all of us to vote "yes" on Propositions 2, 3, & 5.
As always it seems, there are some bogus emails making the rounds telling the public that Propositions 2 & 3 will allow the state to start taxing homeowners. Not true. See above for the explanation of what is involved for voters.
