CNBC.com is not a web site that I have gone to that often, however, I did check it today.  While on there I saw the title of an article, How to Move Your House in a Tough Market, which I thought might be interesting to read and it was. 

Not so much for the content (although it was  but once I started reading it I saw a familiar name.  It was none other than Active Rains's Elizabeth Weintraub.  Not only is Elizabeth a broker with Lyon's Real Estate in downtown Sacramento she is also a big contributor to Active Rain.

This is not the first time I have seen an Active Rain member's name.  It's like seeing the name of an old friend in a place where you don't expect to see it.  Mind you, I have never met any of these people but who needs to.  We know them from seeing their pictures over and over again and reading their posts time and again.

When I saw Elizabeth's name it felt as though I had seen the name of a friend.  That is what Active Rain has done for me.
