Banana River?  I didn't know there was a Banana River that could possibly be this wide.

Tim - Bring your lawn chair and enjoy!

Jim - It's actually a lagoon but we call it a river for some reason.

Kevin - I was visiting in Canada for a while, then it was  really busy when I got back, plus I have been under the weather for a couple of weeks. Thanks for asking! I hope things are going well for you my friend.

John -

Thanks for explaining.  A lagoon ... makes a lot more sense to my eye now.

John - This picture has all the components making it perfect.  It has the sun setting on the horizon, the beautiful reflective water with a pier seeming to transport the soul across it, and the lone sail boat in safe harbor.  It's stunning!

John,

Very nice job. You waited until just the right moment to capture this and get the color you did. :)

Cynthia - The sailboat has since moved to the south and is now partially sunk. It was just an old boat but maybe it can be refurbished :-) Paradise indeed!

Wanda - I always appreciate your comments!

Yvette and Dennis - It has a calming effect and prepares me for a new day.

Robert - You have one of the biggest and most caring hearts on Active Rain. I hope life is good for you!

Myrl - You are always so poetic in your comments. Have you thought about writing a book? I just know there are things in your mind that need to be shared with the world.

Steve - You are such a great Ambasador for Active Rain and I thank you for the compliment my friend!

Beautiful photo John. We enjoy our mountain sunset every day, but there's nothing like a sunset over the water. You've really captured a perfect sunset.
