Any Upward Movement In The Real Estate Market Yet?

By
Real Estate Agent with Harry Norman Realtors 280064

I seem to have this question asked of me very often from neighbors and people I meet who know my profession in Real Estate.  They all focus in on the news and some reports show movement in the real estate markets, while others paint gloom and doom.

In Big Canoe, which is a private gated community, beautiful I may add, the sales are progressing.  Total homes sold in 2009 have been 58. Now you may say that isn't alot, however, you need to consider our location, in the North Georiga mountains, one hour from Atlanta, and a combination of first and second home residents.  People vacation here in the timeshares and others rent homes and condos.

I see opportunity at every corner, a glass half full versus half empty, and a rainbow at the end of every storm.  You can't focus on negatives and be successful.  So look for the good in our economy and savor each and every client you get.

Hey, Rosemarie: That's a great reminder that all real estate is local. Thanks for the post.
