Well, thank you Kate for feeding me the fodder and the inspiration for my daily AR post rant . I love waking up in the morning and the first thing I do, or should I say second after preparing my daily coffee and Bailey's, is log on to all my new friends at AR. I have yet to fail at getting a spark of inspiration from at least one post that I read and I do read a lot of AR posts. Funny but I never read a single blog until I became a member of AR.

I'm a newbie and a definite green pea when it comes to blogging, social networking and especially the whole computor thing. But I have to say that in a few very short and fast months (whew! Where has this year gone?) I have learned more about the art and let emphasize the word ART, I have learned more about this whole phenomenon through my relationships with members of Active Rain like Lenn Harley (my long lost second grade grammar and English Teacher that I never had and should have) who has taken time several times out of what I know are very busy days for her to take me aside and coach me not only on how to effectively and correctly write a good post but to be grammatically correct as well. Because of Lenn I went from 1 feature to 4 in just a few short weeks. I've never even met Lenn but yet she treats me as though I'm one of her favorite students.

But more importantly above and beyond getting featured is the positioning and clout it has given On The Level, our business for the past three decades, on the Internet. If I never was awarded another feature I wouldn't feel sorry for myself. Because of Active Rain, and I mean almost exclusively, On The Level pops up if not number one at least on the first page of almost every tag I input into the search engine.

With pay per click we've been in the post position most of the time for the past 4 years that we've subscribed to it. However, because of Active Rain I am proud to announce that our pay per click costs have gone from over a $1000 per month to under $500 and our lead activity has increased at least 3 fold. We get at least a couple of hundred hits a day Nationwide and I would say that a good percentage are qualified as we currently write between 75 to 100 more engineered certifications a month and get at least 15 to 20 more foundation installation jobs than we did before becoming members of Active Rain.

I have also learned more about linking and optimizing in the past few months than I've learned in the past 5 years.

Now that's success! Thank you Active Rain. But more importantly thank you Active Rain Members and Staff. You're the greatest. I reccommend Active Rain to anyone who takes their business seriously.
