Johnny, Interesting quote from Disney. Thanks for sharing this. None of us enjoy or ask for adversity in our lives but I have come to realize it is during the hards times that we grow the most.

This is so true.

If you look at the people who are successful in their personal life as well as their professional life, I'd bet you'd find they've had their fair share of adversity as opposed to those being "Born with a silver spoon in their mouth"

While I'm not a huge Walt Disney fan, (nothing to do with the theme parks, he was just a huge bigot) the man had a way with words.

Some of the greatest people I've ever met had some of the greatest challenges to overcome.

Johnny - Great quote from Disney, a man who obviously triumphed over adversity. It's sometimes difficult to see the "lesson" when we're "down," but the lesson is always there.

Very true! Often I need a good kick in the pants to help clear my thoughts and get me moving in the right direction.

So true! Lots of people have a very easy path for most of the way. But it is adversity that shows you how strong you can be, in the end, giving you a better sense of true self worth.
