Emerald Isle Restaurants - Ballyhoos Island Sports Grill for Wing Night.
Last night my husband and I went out for a bite to eat and ended up at Ballyhoos. Here at the beach in late October our visitors are waning and things are slowing down. You couldn't tell that last night from the crowd at Ballyhoos Island Sports Grill. The parking lot was full and things were jumping.
Henry's first comment when we pulled into a parking space was, "Wow there must be a big game tonight or something." It turned out it was the or something. As we entered the the double front doors into the lobby the white board used to proclaim the specials had two words: "Wings Night!"
You'll never guess what we had for dinner... yes wings they were nice and spicy (our choice). They also offer them in mild, plain and thai flavors.
My all time favorite at Ballyhoos is the Jumbo Lump Crabmeat dish hot or cold is always great.
If you are looing for a Emerald Isle restaruant when visiting the area I recommend a visit to Ballyhoos. For their full menu click here: Ballyhoos Menu.
Mark Terry, one of the owners, also owns Sight Sound Solutions which is a high end TV and electronics company. When you visit Ballyhoos you will appreciate this fact from the high quality and numerous TVs in every direction you look.

We have never been to Ballyhoos, but sounds like the kind of place I would love. We will have to check it out.
