Sounds like a boat! Interesting concept, thanks for sharing Adam

I have read about Brad Pitt's company's house concept for the 9th District of New Orleans. Supposedly these houses will rise on poles up to 12 feet when the floodwaters encroach. It would seem that if you have a house that will be buoyant there have to be downsides in terms of durability of the structure. I believe that concept is quite different from the floating houses on barges that are now appearing in communities on the West Coast, Florida and in your area.
