What do you buy when you buy a Real Estate office, I mean like the people aren't bought. The good will I guess is worth something and the listings but what is an office really worth.

An office is also worth (beside the good will and listings) any physical real estate owned (like an office location), experienced agents, brokers and administrative staff, the synergy crated by new agents coming in to an office, technology such as web sites, and many more. I am not the broker nor can I speak to all the details of the transaction but the process of mergers and acquistions of real estate offices has been very active this past year in the Pocono region. Many small companies, such as M Realty was and even large companies like Coldwell Banker, have merged this past year and many companies have just disappeared.
