As part of the ORA (Oregon Remodelers Association) annual Tour Oct. 17th & 18th, this LEED Platinum home will be featured as the prizewinner for Best Green Building Remodel for 2009. This home's innovative and energy-effiicient design make it one of the "Greenest" homes in Portland Oregon.

The Tour runs on Saturday Oct 17th & Sunday Oct 18th from 10am to 5pm. Check out the link to the ORA site above for more details on the Tour ~ there are more than 19 homes in the Portland and Salem areas included.

Maureen, With my allergies my next home will be a "green" home. This is beautiful and the staging is just gorgeous. I'm sure it will sell very quickly for all the wonderful qualities and beauty it has.

Annie ~ Thanks! Yes I used many green materials for this special project....that would be another post I should work on!

Maureen, I love the sleek contemporary kitchen. What kind of tile or flooring is in the kitchen?

Bev ~ the kitchen floor is porcelain tile; the backsplash tiles are made from recycled wine bottles; the counters are Caesarstone quartz; the cabinets are made from FSC certified wood; and all of the appliances are Energy Star rated.
