Wise Agent My Favorite Contact Management Program

Real Estate Agent with Century 21 New Millennium

I am always on the hunt for good contact management software but I have been too cheap to get Top Producer.

I have tried 3, listed in order from least to most favorite:

I tried Real Future CRM.  This was not bad.  The best part was that the basic plan is free.  I think this is a good basic option but it does not have nearly as many features at Realty Juggler did.  I believe the paid version, which is $159/year, would have many more options.  However, there was no free trial of the paid version and I didn't like it enough to commit.

I tried Realty Juggler program which wasn't bad.  I did not find some of the features very user friendly.  However, it seemed to be a good option.  The cost $99 for a year subscription.  It offers a 90 day free trial that does not need a credit card.

I then stumbled on some information about Wise Agenthere on activerain.  It had a free 30 day trial that did not require a credit card.  I decided to give it a try.  I have to say that so far, I love it!!!!  I actually just signed up for the paid subscription.  It does cost more than the other 2 I tried at $24.95/month (use coupon code activerain and it's $19.95/month).  However, I liked that there was a monthly option so that I did not feel locked in for a whole year.

Wise Agent includes:  contact & transaction mangement, email capabilities, document storage & marketing tools.  I really like the transaction management piece because it's a good way to make sure that all the things I am working on get done in a timely manner.  It also syncs to your phone so that you can stay on task.  I have all my current clients loaded in and I can sit down at the end of the day and update what went on and have a running record of my client contacts.

I have only found 2 things so far that were available in Realty Juggler that I would like to see included in Wise Agent and that is a commission tracker and a buyer's desired property profile.  I have been informed by a customer service agent at Wise Agent that they are working on the commission tracker right now.

The thing that probably impressed me the most is the phenomenal customer service.  I commented on a blog that was written about Wise Agentand less than 30 minutes later someone sent me an email responding to my concern.  Since then, I have asked questions of customer service via email twice and both times I received an answer within 10-15 minutes.  Customer support is available 24 hours/day.

Over-all, I think any of these programs provides good contact management options at reasonable prices.  However, after trying all 3, I am most impressed with Wise Agent and look forward to fully incorporating it into my client follow-up and transaction management.

The customer service with Wise Agent is phenominal.  You get a person everytime, your emails are answered promptly, like within a couple of hours and they even followed up with me by phone on an email question I had had last week within 2 hours of sending the email ... pretty impressive.

Hi, everyone.  I'm going to check WiseAgent out in the next couple of weeks.  Hopefully they're a responsive company and will add a Leads Tracking Tab (essential for my brokerage) and Commission Tab feature as some of you have suggested.

I'll let everyone know what of think of it and report back.  No sense everyone spending money unnecessarily if this software doesn't deliver what we need as agents and brokers.

Thanks for the suggestion, we have Top Producer and find it cumbersome and difficult to use even though we've had it for several years. We're looking to switch and will check out Wise Agent. Thank you.

Dolores - I still like the way that it is organized.  I don't take as much advantage of it's features as I should.

Hi Stacey -- Robin and I are checking out Contact Software as it is definitely needed to help in staying somewhat organized.

Advantage Xi appears to be a great program, but, Robin will only have a short time during a day to input new client/customer data.  Soooooo, we need something down and dirty, quick and easy and than I can do my best to do follow ups, etc.

We haven't looked at Wise Agent as yet and are currently in the process of reviewing RealtyJuggler.  In comparing WiseAgent to your experience to RealtyJuggler do you still feel WiseAgent would be the better product for you as far as how much and how you use it?

Guess I'm in the minority.  I use Microsoft Outlook for contact management and CRM.  I also coordinate it with Excel and MS Access.  Tried Top Producer for 2 years, Pat Zaby's Respond for 3 years, Agent Office for a year, ACT and others, but MS Outlook satisfies my needs.

I think what sums up your comment is that those things "satisfy your needs". That is not to say that the other programs might not be not better, more efficient options which some are. TP has improved dramtically over the last year and does so much more than any combination of MS products that no one would ever suggest that they are comparable. Respond has been out of business for a couple years now and was never good because they never got it right. Agent Office is still being sold but has not been updated since 2007. It was and is still better than the combination of MS programs mentioned if you want to do better follow-up, do mail merges, and more easily track a person's status. ACT was never a good real estate solution and got worse since Sage bought it some years ago.

Very often people will promote using only MS products or using Google products as being the answer. They may very well be the answer for someone who does not need much, and who enjoys fiddling with them to make them work for real estate. But for someone who wants to be as efficient as possible without having to spend too much time creating work-arounds, they are not good enough, and they simply do not have the capability of doing MANY of the things that real estate specific products do.

On another note, I am happy to announce that I have added WiseAgent as a new affiliate. I have almost 30 different CRMs for sale but WiseAgent is the last "Top Shelf" one I had not yet affiliated with. For those who wish to trial or purchase it, I have decided to include my Trans-Plans letters for free.
