Mortgage Lenders and Realtors ~ Are you in love?

Today driving into the office I was thinking about my job as a mortgage specialist, loan officer, loan originator, mortgage lender....whatever title I have been introduced as. I began to realize, as I have many other times during my 10 years of doing my job, how much I LOVE MY JOB!

Where else can you work to make dreams come true for a family? Where else can you help someone lower monthly payments so that they can keep their heads above water, or get them some extra cash to help pay for college, go on a dream vacation, buy a car etc? Provide the loan for a first time homebuyer, who never thought owning was possible. Help the couple that just filed divorce move on and into seperate homes.

I am a teacher, a mortgage lender, a dream maker, a friend, a consultant, a marketer, and an independent worker, to name a few. I make the hours that work for me and my family. I go on vacation and take extra days to be with my family. My income is limited only to my motivation.

I LOVE MY JOB!

I used to work for a division of a steel company that has a mill in Carol Stream. I made good money, it was steady work,and tons of overtime. I was miserable. Now that I am able to help others in all the ways you listed above I could never look back. I'm never worried that this is a completely commission based career because when you love what you do, you do it well and that draws business to you.

now that i know you have body piercings, tatoo's (okay so i'm old and can't spell tatoo, a leather outfit and ride a harley, i must say i still love your attitude.

KIm, I agree with you, life is more compensating when you love your work and you do it with passion, sorry for delay, but very busy working and I just did some blogs to share and answering old messages, :P
