We are all from different backgrounds, religions, cultures, traditions, yet we are all Americans.  So what do you think is the single item that unites us as a nation?  Surely, not our language, skin color, heritage.  Is it our sense of freedom?  Our right to own property, our work ethic to make our lives what we want it to be?  Is it our Constitution and Bill of Rights that gives us our freedoms and separates us from most of the nations around the world?  Just thinking about this.  What's your take?
